For those who do have, can go unseen, often feeling the need to hide for various reasons common reasons are: to prevent judgement, another is not wanting to be a burden or weight on their loved ones which is also an intense trigger for guilt and shame. The way people with this condition operate in the world is to show their best perception of themselves even though they are feeling like empty shells. One other common reason is to do what they can to fit within the societal norms and expectations, a way and means to fit in. Those who are able to remain hidden behind a smile are often taken by great shock to families and friends when they take their own life, not being able to see what he/she has been happening which is a very unfortunate occurrence.
